Who we are
Connecting Vacations is a unit of Vibrantcar Rentals Private Limited (CIN U63000RJ2020PTC068322), registered office P. No. 3, Sahdev Nagar, Niwaru Road, Jhotwara, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302012. In these pages, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Connecting Vacations and Vibrantcar Rentals Private Limited.
This policy explains what personal data we collect through www.connectingvacations.com and when you travel with us, why we collect it and what choices you have. Questions go to enquiries@connectingvacations.com.
What we collect
- Enquiries. Your name, phone number, email and the trip details you choose to share in our form — the tour or places you're interested in, dates, number of travellers, hotel category, where you're travelling from and your message.
- Conversations. What you tell us by phone, WhatsApp or email while we plan with you.
- Bookings. When you travel with us: travellers' names, ages where hotels or permits need them, contact numbers, arrival and departure details, and the identity documents that hotels, safari permits and some monuments require (for international travellers, usually passport and visa details).
- Technical data. Our servers record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting. If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics records how the site is used (see Cookies below).
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare itineraries and quotes.
- To book and deliver your trip: hotels, your car and driver, guides, permits and tickets.
- To raise invoices and keep the records Indian tax and company law require, and to meet hotels' legal obligations to register guests.
- To keep the website secure and understand, in aggregate, how it is used.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are in discussion with you and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Booking, contract and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and company law require. Copies of identity documents are deleted once your trip is complete and its accounts are settled, unless we are required to keep them.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, withdraw consent you have given, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To make a request or raise a grievance, write to enquiries@connectingvacations.com or call +91 73007 82140. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to enquiry and booking data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly if something goes wrong.
Children
Our website is not directed at children. When children travel with us, their details are provided by their parents or guardians and used only to book and deliver that trip.
